I have bought nine watches from watch shop. All perfect purchases until the last. Not only did they ignore my emails asking for help resulting in me having to send the watch back the emails from customer service show a complete ignorance of product guarantee. They are great until there is a problem then they don't want to know. I have had to spend $57 NZ dollars to return a faulty product back to them wasted $21 on a battery because I thought that was the problem only to discover the watch stopped working a day later.I will not buy from this shop again.

And to the high and mighty person that slagged off the negative reviews wait until you have a problem. Believe me you won't like it like all of us. As I say I've bought nine watches. 8 experiences all good the last one disastrous and I'm out of pocket for the equivalent of 180 pounds. I returned my watch when the numbers began to fall off.It was six months out of warranty.Watchshop said it was due to wear and tear'.I said it was unfit for purpose clearly the hands falling off under the glass wasn't a result of wear and tear and asked them to repair it.They refused, quoted me £18 to repair it, and a few days later upped the cost to £80?

Never had a watch where the hands fall off and never dealt with such a joke of a company. Customer service?

Forget it.As for my request for the manufacures contact details, (Armani) Watchshop somehow couldn't/wouldn't provide any confirmation that they'd spoken to Armani or sent it back to Armani for repair, simply choosing to avoid all requests for information. Received a Rotary watch ordered as a gift for a family member.The watch was not working when delivered so, clearly no quality control before despatching.Sent back and replacement (same make / model) issued. This watch lasted just under 7 months before failing. Taken to a jeweller expecting perhaps a battery needed but, after testing told it needed a new movement costing £60 and a week repair time.Under warranty returned to Watchshop for repair. After 3 weeks no contact or update from them so called and told by them, ' its not our fault, its the manufacturers fault and it will be 5 weeks or so before you get the watch back'.In future I will use a jeweller where I can view & try on a range of watches before buying and also get far better customer service. Watch out with this webshop! The watches are often cheaper than at other stores, but nothing has to be wrong.The service is very bad!

The strap of my Hugo Boss watch was damaged after wearing it once. The coating came off the watch strap. After having sent the watch back, I was accused of having handled the watch badly!

Really outrageous!Fortunately Hugo Boss helped me with this and replaced the strap. Hugo Boss found that this was a poor quality strap. No more problems with the Watch. I returned the watch in its original packaging with the warranty/guarantee, a copy of my original order, an email explaining that the watch is faulty & a covering letter. I have since sent a total of eight emails & the issue has not yet been resolved - it is a complete nightmare!

The WatchShop Support is beyond hopeless!I paid good money for this watch & I am now out of pocket & without the watch. Reading these reviews is making me doubt whether I will ever receive a refund or a replacement watch.I have never in my life received such a diabolical customer service - or should I say disservice! Avoid them like the plague, would be a fitting title for my review! However, I chose a few apt lyrics from the theme tune to 'Only Fools & Horses' - a title I felt was even more fitting!

I don't know if all these negative reviews here come from plane stupidity or advanced incompetence. Ordered twice from watchshop and it got delivered lawlessly within two days. Last one was an Armani watch. It came in its original packaging and the genuine Armani seal, the $#.! I even broke it after two years of use, I dropped it it and the glass cracked. Sent it straight to Armani for repair and they replaced it for me. It's an official shop that takes its watches straight from the manufacturer.

Also checked at a jeweller who confirmed and refused a repair because they didn't have the necessary materials and offered to send it to Armani for me.To the idiot claiming they take pictures from Amazon and listing the same watch for 5x the price: You know that any wannabe 'trader' can sell his items on Amazon, right? Amazon is not just an official retailer, it's a provider, like Ebay. So if anything, those wannabe stores on Amazon stole pictures from the official trademarked and registered king-of-the-hill watchshop. And they sell you cheap China copies, like 80% of the unofficial trash on there.You guys are unbearable. Out of here when you can't make a simple order or are too stupid to contact customer support in case of a shipping/Information mistake on your or their side, most likely yours. Doesn't surprise me, you don't even posses the skills for proper English, let alone explaining what your damn problem was and what you did against it.I encourage anyone interested in real and genuine watches to get to watchshop.

That London store is more than trustworthy, they're a proper business of the branche. And when in brainless doubt like the Amazon kid down there, call up Hugo or Armani or whatever and ask them if they ship out to a retailer called watchshop in the UK, they'll confirm you. I have had a terrible experience with this company.I have bought over 100 watches privately in the past. This is the first time I have used watch shop.Customer service is appalling.I tried to get a price match. I was fobbed off and told they couldn't help.I sent over 5 emails showing the price match- screen shots and web address.To no avail.Appalling customer service- call handlers seem half asleepNo professionalism.They sound totally unaware of how to answer the phone or deal with customers.

I ordered an Armani AR1410 watch from them thinking they had the best deal on the internet. I probably should've stopped my order when it popped up on my credit card that this site was reported as fraudulent but the reviews seemed positive so I granted authorization for the order to go through on my credit card. The order came through fast and since I live in Canada I had to pay an additional $61 in duty and taxes for this $400 watch. I received the parcel within a week. So far, so good. As I opened the package the invoice clearly states the item is 'Costume Jewelry'. There is a serial number on the box and a serial number tag attached to the watch - they didn't match.

So right away I knew this was a used or refurbished watch. The watch looked good though and immaculate - really couldn't tell the difference.

When I changed the dial to adjust to PST time the small hand didn't move. Through enough investigation and youtube videos of finding features of a fake watch apparently, its common for the small hand to not work on fake watches. I read all the horrifying reviews rated 1 star or lower on trusted pilot and other sites and made arrangements to quickly return the device and get my money back because they are very strict on their return policy. Their website clearly states they will reimburse for all shipments on returns. My return shipment came to $65 and they said they will only cover up to £25 which meant I paid $25 out of my own pocket once the currency is converted. Luckily for me, I was very detailed and adamant about getting my money back and ensured I paid for express shipping to return the item within their 30 days policy but I will definitely never shop from WatchShop again - it's a huge scam! I wasted a $86 on stress, shipment/duty/taxes for NOTHING.

Bought a Timex from them in January. Fast delivery came in two days and I was very pleased. After two weeks the bracelet broke and the watch battery was depleted. The estimated battery life is one year.I was advised to send it back to them. After few weeks they sent me the watch back with a new bracelet but again a dead battery.

Someone lied to me from the customer service that the battery has been replaced by the manufacturer. Had to beg to get a refund for the postage. After several e-mails I got it.Then I sent the watch back. This time it took weeks as the watch was supposedly at the manufacturers to be inspected. I was finally offered a new watch and it came quite quickly. After two weeks of use the battery of this watch is low and I still have not received the refund for the second postage.It has now taken four months, money and I have a malfunctioning watch and a history of 65 e-mails and counting. Will never use their business again and strongly advice everyone to do so as well.

Received an email this morning offering an extra 10% off the cost of an order - tried to use the code for an online purchase but the code was not valid. Telephoned the company to make them aware & was eventually told that the code had expired! I asked why they would send an email at 10 am providing a discount code that had expired and was told to place the order, pay in full then to contact them to claim a 10% refund! In view of the feedback on here, I declined to proceed & will be purchasing elsewhere.What a very strange way to operate. Stay well away from purchasing from this company. Do not buy anything here!! They promise a lot but do not make any sense.

Delivery time would be the next day. Has lasted 6 days. You do not get a track and trace, so you can not track your package.

Customer service may be worse. All with Google Translate and they just do not understand what you meant.

I have never heard of sending in a quartz watch for cleaning. I think that it is fair to say from this that Rotary watches effectively have no warranty. This is not what I call a reputable company. I would get a sundial before I would buy another Rotary watch.
